I've got a beautiful model 41 manufactured in 1967. This is the most desirable vintage of this pistol in terms of quality, and it DOES have the cocking indicator.
After buying this pistol, I performed the following upgrades:
  1. Replaced the recoil spring with a Wolfe standard power spring,
  2. Installed a recoil buffer,
  3. Replaced the extractor with a VQ Exact Edge extractor,
  4. Threw on some beautiful Altamonte wood grips.
  5. Deep cleaned the pistol.
Additionally, the previous owner upgraded the rear site to use a Walther GSP rear site blade.
The pistol had some ejection problems the first time I shot it, but after replacing the extractor, it ran flawlessly with CCI blazer.
I'll also include the following extras:
  1. Two (or three?) extra Wolfe recoil springs,
  2. Extra recoil buffer,
  3. Original grips (Note that these have a hairline crack on them, as shown in the pics, but this could be easily repaired if you're so inclined).
  4. Extra altamonte grips. (These arrived slightly damaged as shown in the pics so altamonte replaced them for free, but the damage is hardly noticeable and they're very beautiful grips).
  5. Original extractor (if you want it).
  6. Two 50 round boxes of CCI blazer 22, which this pistol seems to love.
This is a fantastic and incredibly accurate pistol!

Still available for now.

Thank you for the tempting trade offer @coonanboy . I'll let you know if I change my mind.

I just treated this m41 to a coating of Renaissance wax (along with all my other blued firearms). BOY does it bring out the gorgeous bluing :D. I'll try to post a couple updated pics at some point.
For those who haven't heard or Renaissance wax (and neither had I until last week): this stuff is fantastic for blued firearms, and is excellent for wood grips and stocks as well. Seems far superior to oil in all respects for a protective coating on blued steel and wood.

Thanks a great Model 41! She will be happy residing next to 5 other model 41s of various vintage years!
