I have a 1950 Marlin 336sc in 30-30 for sale.
The SC is for Sporting Carbine and the serial # starts with the letter G.
This has been a working hunting rifle but remains about 80% condition.
The flash washes out some of the blueing but there is some honest wear on the rifle. This has the normal or "Ballard" rifling rather than the MicroGrove. Some people care some don't.
This one has been drilled and tapped for a scope mount and I am including a 4x Bushnell scope. This has a 20 inch barrel.
This rifle functions flawlessly. I am selling because have a project in mind that involves a shorter barrel and I just cant see cutting this one down.
The only thing missing is the hood for the front site and a recoil pad has been added. I think $350 is a fair price for a piece of history.
I will take a part trade for a newer Marlin that I can customize or a .357 revolver. (to go with my 1984C in .357). Other trades considered
Thanks for looking
