Selling my 1945 German DOT 8mm mauser. This mauser was assembled by the Czechs post war using remaining and new German mauser parts. These new parts include the stamped winter trigger guard and stamped floor plate. This is a force matched/matched mauser. The rifles were built for Ethiopia by the Czechs, and the stock has an Ethiopian coin/emblem set into it on its side. I have not deep cleaned it, but it appears to be crack free and locks up nicely. Not much bluing left.. The only problem with it is a seized safety, which will not move from the fire position. Perhaps there is a burr or just decades of grit in there. In any case, this is a very cool post war german/czech mauser with neat history and should make a good shooter.
