Hello All,
For your consideration I have 1942 Lee-enfield No.1 Mk III* GFI Rifle Grenade model (All matching serial numbers). This is the GFI (British controlled) India manufactured standard pattern Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mk III* issued during WW2. The copper wire wrapping on the stock is used to reinforce and strengthen the stock to better absorb the stress of firing rifle grenades. This model is rare these days as it has been 20-30 years since these were imported into the US. Many of these wire wrapped models no longer have the wire reinforcement. It was common for US owners to remove the wire. This is a really cool WW2 rifle and is certainly not just your standard Lee-Enfield. Would look great in a display or on the range!
The bore is excellent.
Price is $600 Cash but I am interested in negotiating a trade (+/- ammo or $$ on either end) involving:
Finnish Mosins ( m27/m28)
Older S&W 3-4" barreled prelock revolver .357 mag (19, 66, 65 or similar)
16" barrel SKS, the imaginatively nicknamed "Paratrooper" model
Freedom Ordnance FX-9 pistol 7" version
Send a personal message(PM) if interested.
No shipping, PDX or Vancouver, WA.
If the ad is up, it's still for sale.
