Hello All,
For your consideration I have 1942 Lee-enfield No.1 Mk III GFI Grenade launcher model (All matching serial numbers). This is the GFI (British controlled) Indian standard pattern Lee-Enfield issued during WW2. The copper wire wrapping on the stock is in order to reinforce the stock during the stresses of firing rifle grenades. This model is rare these days as it has been 20-30 years since these were imported into the US. Many of these wire wrapped models no longer have the wire reinforcement. It was common for US owners to remove the wire. This is a really cool WW2 rifle and is certianly not just your standard Enfield.
The bore is excellent.
Price is $600 Cash
I do have several things for sale right now and would entertain a combined sale.
Send a personal message(PM) if interested.
No shipping.
If this ad is up. its still for sale
