Very good condition 1939 J.P. Sauer Russian Capture K98. It is fitted with the laminated beech stock which is in excellent condition, no cracks. I believe that the laminated stocks came into production in 1939, so it is correct for this rifle. Receiver, barrel, and front sight have original matching numbers. Milled floor plate and trigger guard with capture screws present. All Waffenamt's/eagles/markings intact. Great early war example of the K98. Bore shows use , as expected, but still has strong rifling left, not counter-bored. $575, no trades. Local FFL for transfer is Tick Licker in Salem. Buyer pays background fees.
