Selling a 1937 dated S/42 Mauser,in good shooting condition
Numbers don't match and it is import marked on the barrel
No Russian capture marks.
Barrel,rifling,action are all nice
Has era correct hardwood stock,but stock has minor burn damage on right side near bayonet lug.I'm sure there is an interesting story there,and if you'd like,I will make one up for you.
Excellent shooter,passes field gauge test.I have a field gauge,you can try it out.
Includes a reproduction sling.
Please don't get all technical about it.The numbers do not match,but all parts are German made.If it was a high dollar collectors rifle it would be priced as such.
