You didn't say if your gun was a double stack or single stack but, if it's a single stack try hogue. They also have many types to choose from.

i had purchased grips for my 1911 .45 online using paypal,from gungripguys.i still havent seen them and am filing fraud charges at this time.so far they have lied and will not return any emails from paypal or me.these people are not worth the time of day!

+1 for VZ grips

2/3 of my 1911s have VZ grips.

The only reason the other doesn't have a set is that it's a GI model, and I put USGI grips on it to keep the GI theme going.

I love em in the rain. The texture of the cuts are quite sharp when you get them. I hone them down with 200 grit to where I want them.

Top 1911 is the Loaded cut even thinner but I did not have him cut the mag release as wide and deep. You can see by the thickness of the grips bottom bevel.

I have the grips on all the carry 1911's the same.
