I have a front fiber optic sight that I purchased from Dan Wesson, and never installed. It is brand new, in the package. Comes with green and red fiber optic interts. I purchased 2 of them at the time, and put the other one on my PM-7, so here's what it looks like...

I'm not quite sure of the height of the sight, although I could find out... it is the only fiber optic that Dan Wesson sells, and it is used on all of their models sporting a front FO sight. I'm sure it will work on other 1911s, I'm just not that familiar, as I have not messed with any of mine.
