Many years ago I had a Colt Series 70 and bought a Colt conversion kit in 22lr for it. What it did was help me master the trigger without costing a fortune in 45 ammo. Only handgun I owned for years and really glad I bought the conversion kit.
 
Not sure if the right section here. I am curious if anyone knows of any Conversion kits for 1911 that look like a regular 1911 and function well.

I've been looking at so.e kits that were 500+$ and that's a little steep for me. Deciding if I want to build a dedicated 22lr 1911 or do something else if I can't find the right kit. Any input appreciated!

I have colt gold cup national match series 70 1911 .45 acp and a matching 22lr conversion kit for sale I'll separate if you wanna pay 450$ it's identical in size to the .45
