I have a 160 lumen light that gives me 4 hours at max power and this light puts out more light than my 6 D cell mag-lite... Great depending on your requirements...

I'm sure it will be fine if you don't want to use it very much. Yes, great light for the money if that is what you are looking for. If you are looking for a light to use a couple times a week I would pass.

If newer technology is out of line, another great option, Wal-Mart has a sale on candles and I think that you can still get free matches here and there....
