Selling this decently sporterized Krag rifle.
Barrel is cut to 24" has a 1903 front sight,and a no drill peep sight.
Magazine cut off is intact and receiver is not drilled or tapped.
I've had 2 of these "restored" in the past,to somewhat original specs.
If I were to keep it,I would do the following-
Cut barrel to 22" for carbine length,cut stock to match,purchase an upper hand guard, remove the peep sight and sell it,remove the screwed in plugs and install an original rear sight.
Or,it can be used as is for nostalgia hunting purposes.
Bore is great and action is slick as butter,like these are known for.
Includes 1 newer box of Remington 30-40 ammo.

I'll consider trades for/toward AKM rifles or parts kits,mags,or ammo,or 1911 mags /ammo
