From what I can tell, this is an 1871 remington Navy pistol 50 cal, that has been modified to a 22 hornet. I have included an article from the "Idaho Sportsman 1950" that has a little history on this actual pistol. I also own the other pistols listed in this article and they will be for sale soon.
