Model 1863 Springfield made by Providence Tool.
Black powder muzzleloader,obviously.
Has a new nipple,and the guy said he fired it in reenactments at Camp Sherman and elsewhere (Cannot remember where else)
Forend has been cut back a bit,but the ram rod is original,as is the piece of leather sling.
Stock has a nice cartouche.
Has an interesting shield shaped silver plate embedded in the stock-I swear I see writing but cannot make it out even under magnification.
I dont know much else about it.Got it as a wall hanger,and am no longer interested.

I paid way too much for this,but I'd like to get at least part of my money back!

$350 or trade for AK, SKS ,or USGI 1911 parts,magazines,or ammo

Can sell to anyone without FFL involvement,but I cannot ship it sorry!
