For sale is a 1853 3-Band .58 Cal. Enfield rifled musket made by Armi Sport
with new leather sling.
Condition new, was purchased in September, 2011. It is unfired, has not been cocked, has not been taken outside and has been kept in its original box with packing materials.
This is the most common rifle used by the Confederate forces during the Civil War
and also was used extensively by Union units such as the 20th Maine who repelled the rebel advance on Little Round Top at Gettysburg(was also the musket whose greased cartridge touched off the 1857 Indian Mutiny).
Perfect for reenactors, Civil War buffs.
$450.
