I agree with the consensus. It is a replica. The brass work and lack of wear, nicks and dents in the stock is also a give-away. Stock would be darker and dull.
-30+ years as a Colonial American Historian and Black Powder firearms aficionado.

I appreciate your time. I was told by the original owner that the stock had been sanded and refinished by hand. So there is that but who knows...
