I hear you there. I just can't stand how they blatantly ripped off Aridus designs.I'm in no hurry and not going to pay Aridus' price if I don't have to.
$80 from Beretta right now.If anyone has a used Magpul SGA stock and adapter for sale, shoot me a PM and I'll cancel my order.
Langdon was instrumental in the whole thing and I really don't care the reason, come up with your own shiet don't rip someone else's off.The biggest problem I saw was Aridus simply couldn't keep up with the demand. Even Langdon Tactical is using GG&G stuff now.
It not just the stock adapter, it the handguard and the CROM. The new Aridus version does have bolt buffer which there is much debate whether it's even needed but you're right it's not a direct copy, the lines and finish product of the Aridus adapter is much nicer. One word of warning with the GG&G, don't screw up an get the Remington version. The GGG adapter retains the factory bolt buffer. While it shares the same purpose as the Aridus, it's not a direct copy.
Agreed. Not to take this off topic, but same reason why I won't buy an A5 buffer setup from anyone other than VltorLangdon was instrumental in the whole thing and I really don't care the reason, come up with your own shiet don't rip someone else's off.
At least the guy that made the A5 for Vltor moved over BCM before they started making their A5 RE with more adjustment holes and even their buffers are different weights.Agreed. Not to take this off topic, but same reason why I won't buy an A5 buffer setup from anyone other than Vltor
Aesthetically, the Magpul stock on the Beretta looks bubbleguming gangly, no matter what brand is printed on the adapter. It not just the stock adapter, it the handguard and the CROM. The new Aridus version does have bolt buffer which there is much debate whether it's even needed but you're right it's not a direct copy, the lines and finish product of the Aridus adapter is much nicer. Aridus had a major federal contract he was fulfilling and was in the process of acquiring new equipment to keep up with demand when that went down. Also, I much prefer the Aridus QD side saddle over the GG&G shell holder Langdon is using now. A patent was probably the only thing keeping them from knocking that off too.The biggest problem I saw was Aridus simply couldn't keep up with the demand. Even Langdon Tactical is using GG&G stuff now.
I use to use that style, like everything else they have their Pros and Cons.Esstac cards and Velcro work for me.
The package with an adapter and a stock was $150.00 shipped from GG&G$80 from Beretta right now.
