Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
The flare gun came in today. I forgot it at my office, but can take pics later if anyone cares. I obtained it for serious purpose (being able to signal if I'm injured in the hinterland), but what kind wackiness can be engaged in with these (e.g., pyrotechnics, smoke, etc.)?
Depends on the use, but 12ga flares are very wimpy...not very bright, nor do they go up very high. 26.5mm flares and smoke are much more impressive, and readily available from dansammo.com The flare guns are found at gunshows or on gunbroker
37mm flares and such launched from a M203 lookalike or M79 would be a sight to behold i believe some companies are making fireworks flares for that caliber, as well as the 26.5mm size
