Disclaimer: For any transfer requests or questions please email us at [email protected] or [email protected] or feel free to come by the shop. I have a lot going on right now dealing with inventory management and planning out the next 30 days so I will be unable to respond to messages or requests posted here in a timely manner.
Phone Line: We only have one phone line, with so many incoming calls it is impossible to answer all of them since we are already on the line most of the time. You can still try calling but email/visiting the shop may be the best way to get a hold of us.

With the news that we are receiving a 30 day extension we are adjusting our transfers to what I'd like to call an "Oregon Airlift".

We will be accepting private party transfers again and we also are accepting FFL transfers from other OR FFLs who are not implementing 3 day transfers. If your gun is here in Oregon we want you to get it!

Edit/Update:
It was brought to my attention that the 30 day extension only applies to the permit extension and not the 3 day rule, which 114 will get rid of. Please only come in for private party transfers/have a local transfer sent our way if you receive instant approvals / are a CHL holder as we will no longer be able to transfer firearms under the 3 day rule after the 10 day extension is over on the 17th, so the last day we can get people into the queue to 3-day transfer is Tuesday the 13th, which does not give us any room to work with. If you go into the queue after the 13th we cannot guarantee delivery of your firearm. Sorry for the confusion and thank you for your patience - we are working as quickly as we can with the information we have to work with at this given time.

We will still not be accepting transfers from online/out of state FFLs. This isn't done to cause any inconvenience, but because we were getting way too many to process in a timely manner before our previous cutoff and at a certain point it was starting to negatively impact our ability to manage the business.

Transfer Fees & Notes:
  • $40 for one firearm, not including the $10 OSP BGC fee.
  • We can do up to two additional firearms on the same 4473 for another $5 each.
  • Certain background checks (under 21 for a semi auto rifle / permanent resident / visa/ODFW holder) require phoning in BGCs. Currently the phone queue to get a hold of the FICS unit is usually anywhere from 2-4 hours long so we are unable to do any phone in background checks at this time.
  • Please do not leave any magazines with us, buyer/seller should exchange those directly.
  • ID Requirements - *Important* - We have been getting a lot of clients coming in with IDs without their current address on it, and/or even expired ones. If your ORDL or CHL has your current address on it nothing else is needed, but if it does not have your current address on it we need one of the following as a second form of identification as long as it has the updated address on it:
    • ODFW License
    • OR Vehicle Registration
    • OR Voter Registration
    • Official Mail (recently issued preferred) from any state or federal agency
Additional Notes:
  • Wednesday Dec 7th we will be open late until 8pm to try to get as many magazines over 10rds out the door as possible, and be discounting any we have left.
  • We will resume reordering as much shop inventory as possible, however many distributors will now no longer ship us mags over 10rds or firearms that include mags over 10rds.

Thank you!

Great news! For someone that wants to have a local FFL mail two guns to you, is there anything that we need to do besides have the FFL ship to you?
Ideally they should email us at [email protected] with a copy of their FFL, your contact info, and a description of the firearms so we know what to watch out for and who to contact once they arrive.

Edit to the OP I'll be updating in a minute:
It was brought to my attention that we may have jumped the shark and the 30 day extension may only apply to the permit extension and not necessarily the 3 day rule. Until we receive firm clarification I would highly recommend only sending us transfers if you receive instant approvals / are a CHL holder as we may be unable to transfer firearms under the 3 day rule after just 10 days, which does not give us a lot of room to work with. Sorry for the confusion and thank you for your patience - we are working as quickly as we can with the information we have to work with at this give time.

Have you had much success in getting other local FFLs to ship or deliver firearms to your shop for their customers?

We've received about a dozen different shipped/dropped off transfers so far and should have a few more showing up early next week.

The biggest issue is how little time we have to work with, unless we get some good news from the courts next week from our current understanding the 17th is the last day we can legally transfer firearms before the 3 day rule is a no-go in Oregon, this means Tuesday the 13th is the last day for us to be submitting them.

Are you going to stop taking transfers if three day rule is eliminated for Oregon FFLs?
