10/22 single shot modification?

I was at a gun show down in Medford a few years back and came across a table that had a modification for the Ruger 10/22 to make it a single shot. The example they had was a big paddle-like deal that replaced the cocking lever and could be actuated easily with your shooting hand thumb. It was a local pacific northwest company either in Oregon or Washington. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Not exactly a modification as you likely saw a straight pull 10/22 receiver.

I seem to remember something similar that would lock the action for suppressor usage - but it did not replace the action, it just replaced the bolt lever.

There are a number of bolt locks out there - you can google it.
