Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
I am with iamme. Also yes there is $$$ value but there is also "use" value. Which gun will you get more use out of? If you will use the .22 more then you do the gun you have now with the price so close it would be a serious win for both. If you are just trading because he wants the gun and you will not use the .22 or will be re-selling it then it probably is NOT a good deal for you.
That Marlin wouldn't last a day in the classifieds. It's a popular rifle.
10 22 are everywhere. The barrel is cool as is the stock and scope.
If YOU like it.
Sometimes hot rod 10 22s take some time to sell.
Ubiquitous is the word for them.
As said above,if you are going to sell the 22,just sell the lever gun and buy what you want.
the Marlin is worth more, the .357 carbines have great resale value and potential. he would be getting the better of the trade, but sometimes we want somethiing bad enuff to trade anyway, lol.Since the ruger is stock inside,I'd aske for 50.00 along with the ruger.
