10/22 Irons and Scope?

I have a 10/22 with a picatinny rail that I'd like to replace with Tech Sights iron sights. However, I'd also like to have a scope mounted high with shoot through rings for the irons.

Suggestions? Anyone else set up their 10/22 this way?

I know I'll have issues with my cheek weld for the scope so I'm looking at stock pads to raise my head and am considering changing the stock for a Christie and Christie Superstock. Any comments on that stock?
