03 Springfield info

I've got a 1919 03 that my uncle bobbed the barrel on years ago in a poor attempt at sporterizing. I have found and bought a 4/19 SA barrel that looks pretty good shape, Iwant to have it guaged and changed out, if it checks out. Can any one reccommend someone qualified.

So it's SN# is over the 800,000 considered safe to shoot? The cut off was about 4-18 or so I think. So if it's a 1919 gun it should be over the #.

The s/n is 1134XXX I am told it is well past the weak serial number
