If you know where to look it didn't completely kill it off.

But to answer the original question no you will still need the permit. What remains to be seen is if I use my 03 FFL out of state what will happen XD.

I have a type one FFL and because I have mine set up as an LLC I cannot even buy a gun and have it in my personal collection without completing a background on myself. Because I am considered an employee of my FFL. If my business was set up as DBA (Doing Business As) I wouldn’t have that problem. I figured best for liability purposes when I set up my business plan.

It’s a bit ridiculous if you think about it. I have to do a background on myself for a gun that I bought from myself….
