The Practice is an American legal drama created by David E. Kelley centering on the partners and associates at a Boston law firm. Running for eight seasons on ABC from March 4, 1997, to May 16, 2004, the show won the Emmy in 1998 and 1999 for Best Drama Series, and spawned the spin-off series Boston Legal, which ran for five more seasons, from 2004 to 2008.
The Practice focused on the law firm of Robert Donnell and Associates (later known as Donnell, Young, Dole & Frutt; Donnell, Young & Frutt; and ultimately Young, Frutt & Berluti). Plots typically featured the firm's involvement in various high-profile criminal and civil cases that often mirror current events. Conflict between legal ethics and personal morality was a recurring theme with light comedy being occasionally present. Kelley claimed that he conceived the show as something of a rebuttal to L.A. Law (for which he wrote) and its romanticized treatment of the American legal system and legal proceedings.

She was showing interest in guns, so I sent her out with her dad. I thought he had more experience, and she came back a little less excited, he had her fire a shot gun without teaching her how to properly hold it, she ended up with a nice bruise on her shoulder and it scared her a bit. I have...
Okay, this isn't a knife and doesn't actually have an edge - being a practice sabre and all. But it seems like this is the best place to list something like this.
I bought this many years ago during my brief "trying out sabre fencing" phase. It has never been used in practice or for anything...
My 15 year old asked to go target shooting to try the ar15 for the first time; WOOHOO! So, took him and the wife for a weekend outing. A 1000 rounds of .223 PMC Bronze later, and I am out. Although the ammo was fairly decent, it seems to be fairly dirty making cleaning a bugger (I have had...
Whether you like it or not, hunters are going to be shooing longer distances at game. What I don't like is hunters will talk about taking game at long distance as if it is easy, but rarely talk about the rifles, scopes, and equipment that they use, or how they practice to make sure they take an...
