The 3-line rifle M1891, colloquially (but mistakenly; see Nagant's legal dispute) known in the West as Mosin–Nagant and in Russia and former Soviet Union as Mosin's rifle (Russian: винтовка Мосина, ISO 9: vintovka Mosina), is a five-shot, bolt-action, internal magazine–fed military rifle. It is primarily found chambered for its original 7.62×54mmR cartridge.
Developed from 1882 to 1891, it was used by the armed forces of the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union and various other nations. It is one of the most mass-produced military bolt-action rifles in history with over 37 million units having been made since 1891. In spite of its age, it has been used in various conflicts around the world up to the present day.

Hey fellas.
I live in the Portland area, a while back I rescued a mosin from someone selling an estate.
At some point, someone had shortened the barrel and never recrowned it.
Does anyone know of a good place to have it done for a reasonable price?
I looked into just getting the tool but I don't...

Selling a 1942 Mosin Nagant 91/30. It's all matching except the bolt.
I believe the former owner wanted to convert it to a faux PU sniper, since it has a curved bolt, and two elongated bolts through the receiver which I assume was for a scope mount. The trigger is very light as well, so I...
This Mosin Nagant has been chopped and threaded by a Certified Gunsmith. The barrel is 16.5" long. The thread pitch is 578-28. That is an amazing muzzle break that has been installed. The bolt has been customized to allow a baseplate over the top of the bolt. I've included a base plate that can...
Up for sale is 250 rounds of 7.62x54r surplus ammo - Eleven 20rd packs of ammo, and one bag of 30 loose rounds. Most of the loose ammo bears the same stamp seen in the photo, so I imagine the packs are the same.
Two of the packs were slightly torn so I taped them up, but they should have all...
SOLD:
Ole Hungarian M44 carbine with side folding bayonet. Chambered in 7.62x54R.
SN on receiver and bolt do not match. Barrel is dark and crusty. Bayonet works. Shoots; can hit a paper plate at 50-yards.
Fun old blaster makes big holes in the mud. Not gonna cry over it getting wet or knocked...
Beautiful meant Romanian Mosin-Nagant rifle in 7.62x54. Bore is mint and excellent. Headspace is spot on with excellent measurements. Bolt does not match but mint condition and Romanian also, so I think done by their arsenal. Sock and butt do match receiver and it had a “1” stamp I believe it...
Hey guys,
I have a Mosin here for sale or trade. Shot it some but ended up liking my m44 carbine more. All numbers match and it comes with a bayonet.
Willing to consider trades for 223/556 and 9mm ammo as well as Glock 19, 17, 26, or other handguns. Also in the market for a 9mm AR upper. Cash...

Hey all,
I have a really nice early Sako Sk .Y M39 with correct stock on an antique receiver (1897). it has a beautiful arctic birch stock and what I believe is the original sling. Bore looks good, rifle shoots well. I'm only really selling it to finance an engagement ring for my fiancé (or some...
For my next project I'm thinking of doing a rifle in a shadowbox or something . A shorter carbine like a Mosin M38 or 44 for example. Anyone have a beat up rifle they want to let go? Since it would be on the wall, i will de-mil it, probably by hammering a frozen piece of rebar into the...
