marlin 1894
The Marlin Model 1894 is a lever-action repeating rifle introduced in 1894 by the Marlin Firearms Company of North Haven, Connecticut. At its introduction the rifle came with a 24-inch barrel and was chambered for a variety of pistol rounds such as .25-20 Winchester, .32-20 Winchester, .38-40, and .44-40. Variants in other chamberings remain in production today.
Here's one of those carbines admired even by those indifferent to the cause of civilian gun ownership. One glance and even your lefty dear aunt sally wants to shoot. It's lines harken to a day when wagon trains brought settlers through desolate lands in search of manifest destiny, often with...

Thinking of buying the new Marlin 1894 classic in 357. Does anyone have one? Impressions? If you have compared it to the Rossi 92 16 in barrel in 357?
I love my Henry big loop but the wife thinks it is too heavy so going to get her a Marlin or Rossi.

I filled out the 4473 Form for one of the new 1894's in .44 mag on Friday, and I'm wondering about bullet weight, load limitations as there are some pretty potent factory offerings out there these days. I'm guessing the Underwood .44 Remington Mag +P+ 340 Grain Lead Flat Nose might not be an...

Hello,
I have a Marlin 1894 lever action rifle in .357/.38. It is “JM” stamped. Based on my research into the serial number, this rifle was manufactured in the early 1980s.
I know these are in the Unicorn category which is why the price is so high. I paid a lot for it myself. I just got a...
