m1 garand
The M1 Garand (or M1 Rifle) is a semi-automatic rifle that was the United States' service rifle during World War II and the Korean War.
The rifle is chambered for the .30-06 Springfield cartridge and is named after its Canadian-American designer, John Garand. It was the first standard-issue autoloading rifle for the United States. By most accounts, the M1 rifle performed well. General George S. Patton called it "the greatest battle implement ever devised". The M1 replaced the bolt-action M1903 Springfield as the U.S.' service rifle in 1936, and was itself replaced by the selective-fire M14 rifle on March 26, 1958.Although the name Garand is frequently pronounced , the preferred pronunciation is (to rhyme with errand), according to experts and people who knew John Garand, the weapon's designer. Frequently referred to as the "Garand" or "M1 Garand" by civilians, its official designation when it was the issue rifle in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marine Corps was "U.S. Rifle, Caliber .30, M1" or just "M1", and Garand was not mentioned.

Someone has got to have a box of these things lying around, and a friend of mine is looking to buy some. 20'ish of them if anyone has some.
He's looking for quality made ones, not the Chinese pressed ones.
Let me know if you've got a bunch that you want to get rid of.
Thanks

I want to know what the trigger is like on the M1 Garand, such as if it hits a wall and breaks clean or not. Any details are appreciated. Thanks
