Be Cool is a 2005 American crime-comedy film adapted from Elmore Leonard's 1999 novel of the same name and the sequel to Leonard's 1990 novel Get Shorty (itself adapted into a 1995 film of the same name) about mobster Chili Palmer's entrance into the music industry.
The film adaptation of Be Cool began production in 2003. It was directed by F. Gary Gray, produced by Danny DeVito (who produced and co-starred in the first film), and starred John Travolta, reprising his role from the first film. The film opened in March 2005 and was released to video and DVD distribution on June 7, 2005. This was Robert Pastorelli's final film, as he died one year before its theatrical release.

As I have mentioned in previous posts, it bothers me when I see posts asking, "When can I legally shoot someone?" as though it's something to be desired. From my combat and LEO experiences, I assure you the reality doesn't live up to the fantasy for most people. In the below video, the police...
In the past two years there has been a huge surge in “non-traditional” gun owners. There are a lot of new faces at the range and they don’t look like you anymore. If 2A rights are going to be preserved then gun culture has to expand beyond the ever shrinking demographic of conservative old white...
So I walked into Cascade Firearms on Fourth Plain in Vancouver/Orchards yesterday and scored a hard to find and most excellent pistol, one I’d never even seen before. It’s a Kahr T40, Kahr’s largest all steel gun with a 4” barrel, gorgeous standard Pau Ferro checkered wood grips, and a CCO...

3D Printing has got to be one of the coolest technologies to come out in a long time. We have only begun to tap into the potential for what can be done. I have seen printed guns, printed houses, and now, printed suppressors. Once this tech becomes more widespread, it could really cut down the...
