camera
A camera is an optical instrument for recording images, which may be stored locally, transmitted to another location, or both. The images may be individual still photographs or sequences of images constituting videos or movies. The word camera comes from camera obscura, which means "dark chamber" and is the Latin name of the original device for projecting an image of external reality onto a flat surface. The modern photographic camera evolved from the camera obscura. The functioning of the camera is very similar to the functioning of the human eye.
DOD Tech LS470W+ - Dashboard camera - 1080p / 30 fps
Like new. Top of the line. I am the original owner. Purchased it this past fall.
I traded in my car and the new one has dashcam video already, so this one is for sale.
It takes really high quality videos in 1080p. Fairly small and doesn't...
Thinking of buying a backup camera for my truck I am getting tired of climbing in and out of the truck to see how close the hitch is to the boat trailer.
What does everybody else use there seem to be a lot of them out there to choose from.
I am in the market for a digital camera specific for hunting. It has to be light weight and pretty small (not much bigger than a deck of cards), to fit into a pocket. It has to be current with picture resolution (Like, I don't know 18 megapixels plus). It must be AA or AAA, compatible. And an...

I have installed a diagonal focusing screen. The original horizontal focusing screen will be included with...
So I am ready to install a security camera system in my home. Would like to be able to access it on a laptop or on my phone.

Thought I'd start this thread after reading another thread, and hoping that others will share cameras and observations too.
I've had this camera and micro SD card for over a year now. It works fine. Notes:
This camera cannot accommodate a MicroSD card larger than 32GB.
1080p resolution is...
There have been a couple of threads about using a camera to shoot your guns - beauty shots, for sale and of course those all important shooting pictures.
This is the opposite.
If you are not careful, you might learn something.
The authors are from Canada, eh.
Skip ahead to 6min dead, for the...
I acquired this along with a camera and the new owner of the camera didn't want it so it needs a new home. Kodak Gear tri-pod that is in near new condition as far as I can tell. I dont know much about them. It extends out to 53" high and folded up it is 23" long. Has a little level bubble on...
I have been thinking about purchasing a trail camera.
There have been folks prowling around my property for the past couple of months, vandalizing cars and stealing small stuff. Like to get them on film.
Anyone have recommendations on brands, models, features?
Is it possible to view the internet and have the camera images in thumbnails and highlight them when I want to view full screen?
Will a smart TV do it?
Will a newer desktop tower with HDMI inputs do it?
Am I stuck with needing two screens?
I've installed a Swann 1080p resolution DVR and...
This is certainly an interesting design. Unlike anything that's come out of the photography industry in quite a while. It's pretty darn impressive. Here is an intro:
