aftermarket
The automotive aftermarket is the secondary market of the automotive industry, concerned with the manufacturing, remanufacturing, distribution, retailing, and installation of all vehicle parts, chemicals, equipment, and accessories, after the sale of the automobile by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to the consumer. The parts, accessories, etc. for sale may not be manufactured by the OEM. According to a report by the International Trade Administration in the Department of Commerce, "Aftermarket parts are divided into two categories: replacement parts and accessories. Replacement parts are automotive parts built or remanufactured to replace OE parts as they become worn or damaged. Accessories are parts made for comfort, convenience, performance, safety, or customization, and are designed for add-on after the original sale of the motor vehicle."The aftermarket encompasses parts for replacement, collision, appearance, and performance. The aftermarket provides a wide variety of parts of varying qualities and prices for nearly all vehicle makes and models.
Consumers have the option of repairing their vehicles themselves (the "do-it-yourself" or "DIY" segment) or can take the vehicle to a professional repair facility (the "do-it-for me" or "DIFM" segment).
The aftermarket helps keep vehicles on the road by providing consumers the choice of where they want their vehicles serviced, maintained, or customized.
Timney, Jewell, Rifle Basix or ?
Will not be just a benchrest beauty....She will Keeeel, as the guy from "Forged in Fire" says...Was thinking Timney Hunter Elite, single stage or comparable from other mfg....Jewell is the longest lasting aftermarket builder and is a bit more expensive but I did...
I like the pistol, hate the trigger. I want a flat trigger. Per my research, Grayguns seems to make some of the best ones. They make an adjustable straight trigger ($89) or the competition trigger system ($149), the competition says for competition use only, which is not my purpose. I'm open to...

Hey everyone, I couldn't get my crosman 1377 sights to adjust far enough for poi, so I made my own! My rear sight base uses your stock hardware and allows for more windage adjustment, and a lower zero if your pistol is shooting high.
$10, free shipping in the U.S.
Please consider boosting my...

So, I made a trip up to the home range this morning to testing out magazines of various designs and vintages on the Mac-10. I was pleasantly surprised most worked just fine; including a few that just ran with zero problems. I've got a few more ordered based upon the research. (Mental note, I...
I have a Tactical Innovations X-Ring barrel with about 2k rounds through it. It has an aluminum sleeve with a chromoly bore. I was adding an upgraded receiver to my build last week and had the rifle dissembled. When it was apart I noticed quite a bit of wear on the aluminum sleeve where the bolt...
(2) Used SIG SAUER Factory 40SW/.357SIG 10rnd Mags - Dovetail back. (Probably made 1994ish)
(2) Used - unknown brand aftermarket Hi-cap mags.
These came from a trade and I have no use for them.
Selling for $50 total for all 4. ($15 each for the 10rnd mags, and $10 each for the aftermarket)...
Excellent shooting Glock 19. 1 factory 15 round mag, 3 printed mags
Ranger Proof Swag trigger shoe, which basically just eliminates takeup apart from the firing pin safety. Ghost 3.5lb connector and a 6lb spring. Very easy to shoot accurately, but with enough weight to keep it from being a...
What’s up with the P226 aftermarket being so small? Specifically with slides. I’ve looked everywhere I can think of to find a slide and they’re nowhere to be found. Plenty of places that will do milling, trigger jobs, springs, barrels, things like that but No parts kits and no slides. Is there a...
One with big hands might feel the gun more comfortable to hold and shoot with the famed pinky extension. The web is full of resources saying the Glock's factory trigger sucks. They invariably have inconstient pull or they are spongy or creepy and not crisp or they are too heavy. Is an Apex...
I have two model 700's, with the standard CDL stock. I have a bipod coming, and dont want to sling stud mount it. Also I would like some other features of some aftermarket stocks. Both guns are for hunting, and weight savings is important but not everything. I've seen magpul, I know of McMillan...
