I love everything about this place.

Reasonable range fees. Never had to wait for a lane. Wide rental selection. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable.

Store is well stocked, competitively priced and they are very helpful in helping you choose… not just what they like but what fits you best.

I use them for all my transfers and they are efficient and reasonable.

Cannot recommend enough. It's like going to Cheers except the shots are measured in caliber and millimeters.
Good folks

Pros
  • Knowledgeable people
Selection is impressive for a fairly small store. But the real draw is the helpful people. I wish now I had gotten all the names. I haven't used the range yet, but it is highly recommended by word-of-mouth

Pros
  • Friendly staff
Chose this business to send a firearm to for an online purchase. They received the item Monday and it was processed and ready to be picked up the following day. The employee that helped me was super friendly. Paperwork was simple and I was in and out in about 30 minutes.

I've done most of my NFA transfers through The Marksman. They always do a great job at notifying that items have come in and make pick up easy. The workers have always been friendly. Check out their SilencerShop Kiosk
My recent visit at The Marksman.

Pros
  • Friendly staff.
  • Decent gun selection.
  • Indoor range, with gun rentals.
  • Easy to get in despite capacity limits on people inside.
Cons
  • Above average priced transfer fees.
  • Charges you for holding onto private sale transfer guns
  • Holds onto SAR guns longer than state min. of 10 days.
Went in for a private transfer to buy a semi auto rifle from a member here on the forum and the process was easy and nothing unpredictable for the most part. Staff were nice and I was able to get in without waiting on a Saturday, which is a rarety now.

My only complaints are why they don't hold onto guns while the background checks are being done for private sale in state transfers. Otherwise they charge you. Also, it baffles me as to why they hold onto semi auto "assault" rifles (SARs) for 17 days as a store policy vs the WA state min. of 10 days. I'm not sure what the extra seven days is supposed be for.

Transfer fees are high compared to other shops, ended up paying nearly $70 for the transfer fees, charges for holding into the rifle during the waiting period and sales tax.

All in all, great shop, nice people, but I'd definitely go somewhere else for in state private party transfers to save a few bucks.

Pros
  • range and weapon rental
Cons
  • small selection of ammo, accessories
They have a gunsmith and weapon rental as well as sales. not much in ammo selection or other accessories.
I have purchased a weapon there and it was a good experience. Staff a little to stiff for beginners asking about parts and other accessories if unknowledgeable. Mostly handguns and AR/variant rifles.
have classes for beginners and intermediates of all levels and weapons.Only reason not higher is that in the past they have asked for more information than needed (SSN) in my opinion when using the range. That may have changed

Pros
  • Gun shop and a range.
Cons
  • Not the best indoor range.
If you're trying to get a female in to guns it's best to pick ladies day. It's not the best indoor range but it can save you some drive time. Or to pass the time till traffic dies down.
