Pros
  • Indoor Shooting Range
Love this place wish I could go everyday! They're even getting ready to Start Pistol league in October. And while I was shopping I had a pleasant conversation with kenbob about Minecraft.

Pros
  • They let you bring your own ammo, always have plenty of 9mm, gun rentals are cheap and plentiful
I've been here 4 times now, each time I go I wish I had more time to browse... always seem to come towards closing time. The range is good, prices are great, ammo is plentiful and some of the staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. No complaints here, even close to I5 for easy access. My go to spot to shoot if I'm lookin for an indoor range.
Still pretty good in 2021

Pros
  • Close to home, clean, good but not oppressive range rules
Joined NWA as a couple's membership; pleasantly surprised first visit after that is free.

That first visit - ever - was last week. If I understand correctly, this version is a successor business at the same location, and the facility is modern and laid out well.

Like most places in 2021, they're light on ammo; fortunately we had our own.

They allow rifles; their web site says they want shooters to use frangible ammo for those - but they can't get it to sell, so they allow FMJ. NO armor-piercing or other ammo that will really wear down the bullet traps. I had forgotten how loud an AR is, indoors.

Range fees are half for members.

Staff were polite and helpful.

One little thing - the 'airlock' into the range is pretty small, and getting out of the way of the doors with a range bag can be fun; it'll be easier next time.

My previous experience had been with indoor ranges in that Big State To The South, and this one is a whole bunch better. Rapid fire? Sure! Work from a holster? Let us lower the lane table so it's out of your way! Counter guy reacted as if I were a little weird for even asking, though perfectly polite.

Left 'Selection' unrated, since I was not shopping or looking to rent last week.
Always a good experience

I have been there at least a couples times. We popped in today to see if the had a PS90. They didn't have one in stock, but the two staff members we interacted with were helpful and knowledgeable.

I noticed they rent machine-guns; I didn't have the time today to engage in said, but I certainly will on another trip. Of those that I can recollect, they had a Thompson, an M60, a couple AK-47s, a Sten, a Sterling, and few others I forget. Looks like fun. :)

I came in looking for a compact 10mm carry pistol. The counter guy recommended a full-sized Glock. "You don't want to shoot a 10mm in a compact pistol." Pardon me, but yes, I actually do want to do that. I spend a lot of time in "big bear" country and don't want to open carry when hiking, working, or sightseeing. As the conversation developed another employee joined in and he seemed to understand that yes, I do know what I'm talking about, and yes, it's my choice, not his. I'm sure somebody less knowledgable would have been put off by the first guy.

Ugh. I can't stand it when a gun shop person does that. It is part of the reason I, generally, don't frequent shops any more, unless we want to "try before you buy".
