I just came back from here to do a private transfer. First of all, they charge $55 for the transfer which is crazy, but that was not my main issue.
The person I was trying to sell a gun to was an Oregon resident but his ID was from out of state. (He didn't tell me this until we were already at the desk.) When I tried to ask the worker if the buyer could visit DMV to get a temporary issued ID he got irate, cut me off mid sentence and yelled "GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID" in my face.
