I was buying a gun from a friend recently, and we received a very fast & friendly service on the transfer from a young man working there. Due to...

I'm shocked to see good reviews here. I completed a transfer to Fire Demon here over the weekend and had never been treated worse at an FFL. I...

Apparently doesn't want people to conduct PPTs in their store?
An older blonde lady working the counter was extremely rude and sarcastic when I presented two handguns for sale. They were both in very good condition and had been occupying space in my safe. She asked what I want for them and I told her I didn't really know because I didn't know what fair market value was (figuring they would have a better pulse on the used gun market than me). She sarcastically says "Ok, $200 for both pistols". When I decline that offer, because it was clearly offered out of spite, and say that is way to low and say something in the ballpark of $300 each is what I figured she said that is what she'll wind up selling them for and then haphazardly tossed one of the guns back into its case, showing absolutely zero respect for my property, and then told me she wasn't interested. Another customer nearby inquired about what I wanted for one of them and when I said about $300 sounded fair the blonde lady rudely told me to "stop facilitating sales in her store". When I asked even if we'd pay for them to do the background check she cut me off and said I can't make sales inside her store and said I need to leave. On my way out the door she commented that it was my job to research market value before taking it to their store. An older review on this thread mentions a rude blonde lady so I'm assuming it's the same person. Just a bitter old person who should stay off the sales floor.
There was another employee present who seemed nice enough but this lady was definitely in some sort of mood. I've stopped in this shop a few times over the last 10 years and even bought two rifles from them - now I will never step foot in this establishment again.
I went in for a transfer and it was quick, easy, and friendly. I checked out a rifle they had on the rack while I was there and came back a couple weeks later to buy it. Quick, easy, and friendly again! This is a great shop!
I recommend this place for FFL transfers. They processed a handful of transfers for me when the wait list was at 13k. Released after 3-5 days due to my CHL.
came in during covid they had a system of 1 customer or group at a time which was understandable and the younger gentleman help us out selecting a hunting rifle for us. we settled with a savage 25.06 with scope and case and for the price it was amazing and out the door in less than an hour for our BGC. it has been awhile since i been there so rely on the more recent reviews. biggest news is that their unbeatable firearm transfer price shot up 10 dollars from 25 to 35. which is still nothing to sneeze at since more FFL charge 50-65 dollars so take it with a grain of salt.
I used them when we were having massive delays from earlier this year and last. I usually get delayed for a period of time. They would release the transfer after 3 to 5 days. They came through for me on several occasions.
I've done several FFL transfers with these (in & out) and every time they have been easy, well priced, and communicative about shipments etc. Highly recommend for anyone doing an in or out FFL transfer.
I have done several transfers with Tigard Pawn 4 More in the past year, and have always felt welcome and been treated with respect. At first when I wasn't sure about the process they took the time to explain it to me. They are now my only Go To for transfers.
I bought my first gun from Tim many years ago and he's been my go to for any and all of my transfers/online purchases. I even sent my family his way. 10/10 recommend this place!
Did a private party transfer and it was all really ok. If it's were to give my opinion I'd say it was pretty dang ok. I've bought from there three times and each time it was completely ok. If your looking for a place that's ok , you should definitely consider Tigard pawn 4 more.
Great place for FFL transfers. Was able to get background checks done and get my firearms same day as it arrived and this was during the measure 114 panic buying started. Will definitely be back!
Over the past couple years i have had a number of items sent to Tigard pawn for More in Tigard and dont see a reason to change., though i no longer live close by they process and service is worth the drive.. Super easy to deal with and with Reasonable fees. They are also onfile with many sellers etc through out the country, Never had a issue shipping wise and they were careful when handling. There is no guessing if item came in and is sitting there...As They give you a call when item comes in that you have been waiting for..and even will leave you a message with number to call back if need be.. They do call right away. They also have enough staff on hand so your not waiting and waiting to get help and on your way.. so you can get your item asap..and be on your way. Business hours are sensible and work.
They have one wall filled with guns. This is pretty typical for a pawn shop. The staff are friendly but can take a while to get to you. At the time I went there were mostly super high end revolvers, Glocks, AR-15's, and Taurus.
Had a rifle sent here and the process was quick, great communication and very helpful.
There shop wasn't busy went I went it and I got lucky with instant approval so I was out in less than 30 minutes. I did have to leave and come back to get cash for the transfer though.
