Among the few LGS willing to do FFL transfers following Measure 114. Welcomed a newbie and readily shared information and suggestions. Small family-owned business. Support the people who support us.
Respect.Very professional and helpful, considering the current circumstances...
They also consider/follow the 3 day release rule. Respect.
Lowest transfer fees around, friendly staff, no pressure transactions.
I have been doing business/transfers with them for a few years, and have had only positive experiences in this place.
The few complaints I've seen on this forum in the past probably have been made by entitled over sensitive soy boys who don't think rules applies to them...
One can see how good someone is, when that someone is working under pressure, out of their normal environment.
Every FFL in the state has been under pressure for the last few weeks now, from an unprecedented number of incoming firearm shipments, a sudden wave of jittery, stressed, and demanding customers, transfers, paperwork, short staffing, phones ringing every minute, and not to forget, the deep uncertainty that the bubblegumming 114 brought upon us.
I can't speak for other places, but the small staff at Tigard Pawn 4 More has been performing remarkably well.
I had 2 transfers in 2 days, and walked out of the door with my purchase each time, in under 30 minutes....instead of being number 29,800 or something, in queue.
I guess/pretty sure my very rare/unique name has something to do with it.
But, it also helps to always be respectful, polite and pleasant to do business with, as a customer.
Good luck to everyone out there, I know that I will continue to give my business to Tigard Pawn 4 More.
Even with the $2 charge for the ID photocopy, transfer fee is still lower than the $50 other places charge
Cons
Not much selection if you are looking to purchase.
Have completed a personal transfer and an FFL transfer at this location.
The personal transfer went smoothly and was fairly quick.
The FFL transfer was an EP9 shipped from Extar. Called them with my information and the process was started. The staff at Tigard Pawn contacted me as soon as the package arrived (not long after I received the email from Extar that the package was delivered). Once again, a smooth, inexpensive transaction.
Another review mentioned that the staff held your hand for the thumb prints. I did not experience this either time.
This is a nice place to sell your firearms, They provide a quick background check at good price, The staff has been very helpful with the transactions I have been involved with, Give them a try.
I've done 2 transfers with Tigard Pawn and have 1 incoming. They're the best here in Tigard. Quick, decently priced. Super friendly. Can't go wrong with them!
Must have a trigger lock with your gun in order to leave with your gun otherwise they charge you for one
Staff must hold your hand for fingerprints
Ive done at least 20 transactions over the years at Tigard Pawn 4 more. Their transfer and bgc fees for the most part are fair and I am glad they havent raised them. I probably would have continued to use this place had not discovered or befriended an awesome FFL in Oregon City. The staff at Tigard pawn 4 more is professional for the most part but I just cant get over their requirements ( see cons above ). For the right deal, id use them again.
friendly place to transfer firearm, quick and low fee
quick transfer and low fee
good location, by the highway
the staff is friendly, and normally, there is no line waiting for firearm transfer.
this is my only FFL to get online firearm auction, super easy and smooth process. I just told them the auction contact information, the staff will handle all the remaining things and call you when they got the shipment.
$25 transfer fee is low. and location by the highway, easy to access.
Updated:
the lady is kind of not nice, throw away the gun shipping box without even ask my permission.
increased transfer fee to $35, webpage is still $25, there was a tall young man worked there, he was nice, but it seems quit the job there.
Easy to get to, $25 transfer fee **You will need to bring or buy a trigger lock!**

You will need to bring your own trigger lock or buy one there.
In, out, and on with life, the only snag being that they will not let you leave the store without a trigger lock due to some federal law that everyone else ignores. They sell trigger locks for $10 just in case you don't have one. The lock is not required to be on the firearm, you just have to have the lock in your possession with the firearm.
Great place to meet up for private firearm sales. Transfers have always been quick and easy for me. $25 fee + a few more bucks if you don't bring your own ID copies.
All of the firearms they have are listed on the website if you want to check that out ahead of time.
