I have purchased two firearms from them, transferred one to them from guns.com and transferred one to a relative. All 4 interactions were excellent, and I will always think first about choosing them for my firearm related needs before considering any other shop. Support these guys, they really are the best around.
Friendly, and courteous . Great selection, knowledgeable staff.
Cons
Disappointed they raised their transfer fee. I will shop around next time.
I used them for a private transfer two year ago and very please with them . So when I needed to do another transfer, just automatically choose them. I got caught in the que. not there fault. Called after two weeks and was told not to call they would call me. Waited to more weeks . Found the check had already gone through and no one had called. Very surprised when I went to pay and i was informed their fee was $45.
Thes= Salem location worked with my dad in selling his firearms on consignment, they did a great job in making quick sales at the prices my dad wanted and providing documentation for the Estate. In the end they assisted me in purchasing the remainder of his estate and working with me on final accounting. I could not imagine working with a better crew in such a devastating time in my life. Thanks to their hard work and detailed paperwork my father's estate was settled with the remainder of the family without any issues.
Always a great place to visit and buy from / or do a transfer at ($35 at time of posting). They have budget items and higher end firearms, and lots of accessories.
Had some guns transfered person to person, amazing

I had to transfer 6 guns person to person.
Called around, had done transfers some other places local.
Tick Licker was hands down the most professional and nicest.
Great selection of firearms and great customer service
I love going to this shop: they have a great selection of firearms and accessories, and the customer service is fantastic. There is always multiple sales reps there to answer your questions and to show guns. My nephew named his beloved .22 chipmunk after them - "the Tick Licker".
Tick Lickers is my go to shop, I have done several Transfers there, as well as bought plenty of firearms. My wife bought a .380 and 1911 from there as well. Austin is always a pleasure to deal with, Mike (No longer there) was also a great guy to deal with. They're a no B.S. Shop straight to the point and you don't get the salesman attitude which I enjoy. Ammo is thin there, which is in line with everyone else. Prices are slightly higher but I'd rather support them than the larger corps. They treated me well during the M114 fiasco, when sportsman's was turning people away and not honoring the 3 day rule. Tick Lickers was following the law as is its spelled out!
Great service, knowledgeable staff, very reasonable prices
Absolutely the best firearms shop on I5. Great selection of rifles, pistols, revolvers and shotguns. If they don't have it they will get it for you.
Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff who don't look down on you on your firearms knowledge.
Prices are very good even with the inflation created by the current administration.
The staff is very detailed oriented and explains all the paperwork in great detail.
Best damn firearms shop in Oregon.
I went here to pickup my M&P 15 Sport. I had no issues with the purchase or the staff who helped me. It's been a while since, so some of the details are fuzzy on what else they had to pick from at the time.
