A HUGETHANK YOU for handling transfers during this time (after the passage of measure 114).

TL has been my go-to firearms shop since 2020. Elite members with Silencer Co, great service with FFL transfers including great communication with me and other dealers and other gun shops. They are also super patient.
Great selection of firearms.
Fair prices.
Thanks.

great shop with knowledgeable staff
great shop and SOT dealer, I recommend anyone looking for a can to stop in
Tick Licker is the shop I call first for all blue label purchases I make. They usually have what I'm looking for. The staff has never made me feel stupid for not sharing the same knowledge they do, which I've experienced with other shops.
Excellent shop with great variety and good knowledge.

Pros
Class 3 dealer, excellent service, very knowledgeable
Cons
In Salem (for us Portlandians)
I have done business with Tick Licker for the past 4 years and have always been impressed with their excellent selection as well as their great customer service. I would highly suggest a visit for anyone who hasn't been.
For those like me who live in Portland, it is well worth the drive. In addition they are a class 3 dealer and made the purchase of both of my suppressors easy and hassle free.
I will definitely be dealing with them again in the future!
Always great service. It's where I go to so ffl transfers or buy guys. Very knowledgeable staff. Usually have blue line specials. They can even order in most things you want if they don't have it. Or if it's not in stock.
Had questions about NFA items and although busy, spent the time to answer them all. Ended up ordering from them. Left a happy customer. I wouldn't hesitate returning to give them my business
Good selection of AR-style rifles, bolt action rifles, and shotguns
Very good selection of handguns - new and consignment
Cons
Can be busy at times - but keeps them in business!
Ammo selection often very thin - but welcome to 2021
A small, locally-owned LGS in Salem, Oregon. A great place to go for FFL transfers with a reasonable fee ($30). A good cross-section of parts, optics, handguns and long guns. Although , ammo selection can reach drought proportions on most occasions. The staff are the highlight of this business. While sometimes appearing a little gruff or short, you have to understand the Retail industry. When it's busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest, patience can be stretched thin - especially with the guy wanting to tell you how much HE knows about the history of the 30-06 caliber and it's importance in modern society... Anyway, visit the crew on a random Tuesday or Wednesday at 2:00 pm and you'll find a more chipper group of guys willing to chat with you about your new sub-MOA Bergara B-14 chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, and share with you those helpful tips on keeping your new tack driver clean!
God Bless Tick Licker and the USA!
Great shop I love to stop in when I'm not busy. Don't buy ammo from them but purchased scope mounts and gas tubes and handrails and they extremely helpful in making sure I got the right stuff and mounted it quickly and accurately.
Have used this shop for transfers three times. Each time I walked out with something extra. I appreciate the amount of inventory they have. I don't think I have ever seen that many Aero Precision parts in one place. They always have some type of ammo that I need. Ammo prices have increased and it reflects at their shop too but its across the board.
The place also has a lot of binary triggers, pretty much for every platform they make them in.
never had a bad experience here. Staff is always willing to answer any questions you might have and I've never felt rushed. Plenty of local customers that just come in to talk shop, always a good atmosphere.
I've done business with them a couple of times, once when I was shipping a pistol to an ffl and once when I bought a receiver from them, both times they were friendly helpful and reliable. I highly recommend them if you need an ffl in Salem.
I drove down there to do a transfer. Nice small shop, well organized. Very nice selection of firearms considering the times. Ammo considering the times was OK.
Very fair transfer fee. The clerk was kind enough to ask if I had a CHL as it might go faster and I wouldn't have to make the drive again (I normally just use my ODL at the home shop), I kind of wanted to play the game with my ODL but went with the CHL and walked out of the shop a few minutes later.
Nice folks, interactions with other customers was courteous while I was there. If I lived closer this would be a shop that I would frequent.
Stopped in to look around and was impressed with the inventory! Answered questions without making me feel stupid, showed lots of understanding and respect. Got a rifle and pistol combo at a great deal, will be back for sure.
