Simple transfer and quick. Easy to work with and knowledgeable employees. Will certainly visit again if needed.
Cons
Store is small and selection limited, but it was a busy time. Not their fault.
They had what I was wanting and I was able to make the purchase. Employees were very helpful even though this was a stressful and busy time for them. It is a small store in Corvallis with limited selection, pricing was fair. I will certainly return if I ever need something again.
Does transfers between private parties for the reasonable rate of $35.
Good inventory.
Knowledgeable people.
Good prices.
It's one of the only gun shops in the liberal city of Corvallis. Was pleasantly surprised at their selection and prices. They're fast & friendly. Did a transfer between a fellow NWFirearms member and myself with no hassles. Look forward to future purchases there, next time we're in CornValley.
I had purchased a few items from Tick Licker (Salem) at the gun shows previously, and was glad to see them now in Corvallis too, since we have lost quite a few local stores recently.
The first time I went in, they had a couple of newer, hard-to-get firearms in stock right in their store that I was looking for, which is always a plus. Even gave me a deal on multiple purchases.
I have also done one transfer through them and it was quick and easy. I will certainly be going back again.
Tick Licker was new to me after Philomath Firearms closed down. They handled a transfer for me and I found them helpful and they had a great sense of humor. Browsed their selections and for the times we are living through I found them pretty well stocked. Didn't look for ammo but who really does anymore?! I will be going to see them again when the need arises.
