Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Great selection of pistols & fast background check
customer service
price
Cons
limted hours late
Ordered my Ruger Security .380 on line at a fair price for 2 mages (10 & 15 round mags). Free shipping to the store. Notification when item arrived. Fast background check (iPad), and knowledgeable customer service. Took less than 45 minutes to get new gun, be register out the door with 2 boxes of shells. Great experience
I love stopping by to pick up a few things here and there, and always have a pleasant experience browsing and chatting with employees. My only issues are the typical covid complaints, but that's the exception of the times. The store manager actually works on the floor and engages with customers in a positive way, and this friendly attitude is reflected in every associate. The surveys on your receipt are actually read and acted upon, I know because I complained about the lack of crappie jigs and found a display stocked with merchandise a month later.
This is a quality community based sporting goods chain.
With most "sporting goods" stores choosing to not support the 2nd Amendment or our veterans, Sportsman's Warehouse stands out by continuing to honor both.
I've found that if you watch for sales and take the applicable discounts and coupons, you can get some great deals. You have to be quick, though, as they don't stock endless supplies of the sale items. Once they are gone, that's it. There are no rain checks to be had.
I've purchased ammunition, accessories, cleaning supplies and one firearm there and have been very happy with each transaction. Staff, while a bit scarce, are helpful and engaging. They listen, the show you the products you are interested in and offer options to consider that aren't always an "up" in price.
Sportsman's Warehouse is one the better larger sporting goods stores that I will continue to support.

One of the best stores for outdoor recreations in the area. It is a typical retail store however, meaning there is likely a minimal staff on duty. The hunting department carries the rest of the store, so most of the staff are behind the gun counter. Ammo, firearms, and most things related to those are very fairly priced, if not the best prices in town. Most of the firearms are priced the same as places like buds gun shop online. They will return anything. So long as you put up a fight, they will take it back. They have a good military discount for those that served. They hold a balloon pop discount day once a year, the best day to buy something expensive as there is a good chance you'll get a good % off. The current manager Matt Hutchins has helped out with the Trash No Land cause tremendously and had always donated merchandise for prizes and fundraising.
I've bought lots of ammunition and accessories at Sportsman's. They have a great selection of both, including outdoor gear and even good jerky! I like that they carry many Streamlight and Fenix products and have bulk ammo in stock regularly. The gun selection is very good as well as the optics they offer. Sometimes you can even find a great optic on clearance for 1/2 price!
