Always had what I needed. Even when things were scarce.
Cons
Parking stinks, but that's not really their fault.
Lived in Renton for over a decade and Pintos was always my go to local shop.
February 2022 was my last visit there before I moved. Needed some 6.5 Grendel which was unobtainable. They not only had it in stock, but they had multiple flavors. Well priced too.
Only had one grumpy employee interaction all the times I went. Chalked it up to a bad day. Would still spend money there if I ever go back.
Very mom and pop shop feel, but they are good about having powders and primers in stock. They also have a nice used collection for sale.
I like to support those who support the community, and they are very good about doing that by supporting local youth shooting sports as well as Renton Fish & Game.
Great folks. Honest, and the items are priced fair

Pros
Solid old fashioned gunstore with people who know what they are doing.
From out of state transfers, to in store purchases, I've done business with these good people for many years. I've never had reason to regret any decision I've made.
I don't expect something for nothing. What I want is honest business practices, and fair value from people who know what they are doing. That's what I get here. That's what I can depend upon.
Large selection of Non Tactical rifles and historic pieces
Reloading supplies!
Cons
Strange transfer requirements
Staff can be very stand offish and borderline rude
Let me start off with saying I like this store, I frequent them quite regularly. I have purchased a few unique guns from them but will never transfer anything to them ever.
Having discussed a transfer with them in person I was never told about their requirements to fill out a google sheet from their website before they would consider processing it. Then my firearm had been delivered for several days, I called and was told it will be ready when they call. They where just to busy to put it in their books.
They do have a decent selection of reloading components, no primers, but who has those right now. Powder, brass, and bullets best selection I have seen in person anywhere. They also teach a reloading class that I have not attended but thats super cool and I believe they do it free.
A formerly good place for Renton and 2A, but NOT ANYMORE...

Pros
Rented a bigger space, and now "too good for customers"
Cons
Have become a slightly snobby "gun boutique", rude and non-helpful now.
Their space expanded, but NOT for the better. Used to be friendly and knowledgable, always willing to help. But now rude, and now; they have a take it or leave it attitude, so after ten years, hundreds of visits, and over a dozen firearms bought....so I left. If I really wanted to be treated like crap by someone I've known for years, I'd move into my mother-in-laws house. What a shame, negative feeling inside now. Their new motto apparently is "just drop your money on the counter and stop wasting my precious time."
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE AT PINTO"S GUNS. they've sold out to big business, I felt like I was in the Kmart gunshop...no thanks.
