Pros
  • Generally have a good selection
Cons
  • Service is hit or miss at best
  • Prices tend to be slightly high to really high
I have been to the store multiple times. Their selection always seems to be good and common items in stock.
The service is hit and miss at best. First couple times there was someone to assist me with my purchase. Last few times I had to get someone's attention. Last couple times I had to get someone's attention I could hear their conversation behind the counter and they were just BSing about their days off and other random stuff. They didn't want to help me until they finished the conversation and was very annoyed when they did come to the counter to ring up my purchase.
So hit or miss service and higher than normal prices. I only go to ORW if I need a part and don't want to wait on shipping from someone else.

Pros
  • Knowledge level, time taken with customers when you finally get assistance, polite and professional
Cons
  • Mishandling of logistics
I am editing my review to reflect failures on an NFA item purchase made through Oregon Rifleworks.

I wanted a suppressor but they weren't carrying what I wanted (Odessa 9). No problem, I pay up front and order it. Can comes in and I get a call where they leave a voicemail saying to make an appointment to complete NFA paperwork. I call back to make my appointment but the only member of the team that handles NFA items is on lunch.

I am told that if they have the can i can come down anytime and they can accommodate me for the paperwork filing. I specifically make a point that I was requested via email to make an appointment. I am told to call back in 30 minutes to talk with the employee that typically handles NFA transactions. I called back 3 times separated 30 minutes apart over the course of 90 minutes and was redirected to voicemail each time, leaving a voicemail requesting a callback; no callback is made within 24 hours.

I drive down as instructed by the employee in the aforementioned phone conversation, only to learn that apparently the ATF website is down and has been so for days. Great, now I get to coordinate in some nondescript time later an appointment to drive 40 minutes total time back down here to do the paperwork that hasn't been initiated.

Oh and the can I ordered is now in the display case at the store, so i guess they do get shipments and I did NOT in fact have to pay up front to have it special ordered? Or the can in the case is MY can out of box on display? Either way, not having great luck so far with Oregon Rifleworks.

Just pickup the phone or check your messages 🤦

P.S. update: The cans crown shattered after 20 rounds, a known problem with gen 1 Odessa cans and has been with Dead Air since May. It's November as of writing this review. The whole purchase was cursed.
