If you need to a good belly laugh, you need to check out the prices at this establishment. Before I get to that, the basics: It is a dingy little shop on the main drag of Canyonville. They sell firearms, ammo, used hardware, musical instruments, and other things. It looks like a pawn shop, though I don't know if that is what they do. The times I was there, they had no handguns and a small number of long guns.

It doesn't matter, though, the prices are simply insane. I asked for a box of .357 Magnum and they had a basic box of 50 for over $70. When I balked at that, they grabbed a different box, this one a 50 round count of aluminum cased (Blazer) .38 Special for over $60. I politely declined. I forget most of the long gun prices, but they were all nuts. I remember seeing a beat-to-hell Yugoslavian M48 Mauser for about twice you'll find them elsewhere.

I haven't been back in a while, so I don't know if they are still ridiculously priced. Maybe they thought they could get away with it because of the ammo situation the last few years or maybe they're just unaware of real world pricing. Though I did get a chuckle remembering the "deals" they had. ;)

EDIT: I wrote a review back in December 2016. About a week ago, I stopped by there because we (wife and I) were in the area, and taking our time antiquing, etc. Selection? Slightly better in that they now had some handguns. Prices? Still unintentionally hilarious. And I don't mean the regular markup one sees at a retail establishment, I mean between 1½ to 4 times what firearms go for elsewhere. I honestly don't know how they move any products, or at least firearms. They sell a bunch of other used crapola too, but I didn't really check them too closely. The Mrs looked at the jewelry, but didn't seem too interested, which is saying something.
