Strange Restrictions on LE and Cowboy Action - Club/LE access only
No Holster Draws (Except on LE Range)
I've been going to this range facility for a very long time. There are 3 rifle ranges.
Can shoot pistols on the Walker rifle range too.
There's a cool LE tactical range that's great for doing drills, but aside from private classes you either have to be LE or part of a couple clubs to use it. It's a shame, as it's always good to practice, and taking classes all the time isn't always doable. Dry fire only does so much.
Anyway, this range is tucked at the base of Walker Mountain, and the view is beautiful. If you're in Southern Oregon, definitely give it a shot. Pun intended.
Day use fee applies.
Even though it's a drive to get there, I've been there several times, and it's always clean and neat, most of the help is volunteer so I'm pretty impressed with the facility. They have separate facilities for pistols, rifle ranges, and trap and skeet though I don 't do them anymore. I'm not a member but it's only because I live an hour away from the range.
