Open 7 days a week, with good evening hours. Great CS, huge selection!
Highline has become my go to FFL- i am willing to drive further to us them for purchases or transfers. Good prices, great customer service, large selection, and biggest pro for me is they are open 7 days a week, which really helps!
I purchased the majority of my rife setup from these folks and they were very helpful in choosing what would work best for my build. Would shop here again.
Always enjoy Highline from their selection to their witty staff. They have always been good to work with and I really appreciate the low consignment rate they offer to sell a firearm.
Great inventory for firearms and ammo. Fair prices and good service.
Cons
Can be cramped. Too popular for their own good.
Very good inventory at HighLine. Always able to find what's hot on the market and the popular calibers/models. Also consistently have more niche calibers and guns. Always fun to window shop and very convenient if you happen to be into those niche calibers (shoutout .458 SOCOM).
It is always a pleasure to visit Highline Firearms. I have purchased firearms and ammo on several occasions. They always have a great inventory with fair prices.
Really nice shop with friendly people. I've purchased 10+ guns here and had good service. Depending on when you go, the store can be busy!
Nice selection, easy consignments, and website orders show up fast!
Willing to help find what you want if not stocked in store
I have been a customer from the start and have never had anything but an excellent experience shopping at Highline. Staff here is friendly and knowledgeable. When doing a transfer for an online order or a new or used purchase directly from the store, they are always great to do business with.
Staff knowledge, not afraid to say they don’t know but will find out
Good selection of new and used guns.
They greet everyone as they walk in.
Ammo prices a great
Cons
Limited ammo
I try not to buy from anywhere else. These guys are great, the owner is approachable and easy to talk with.
Added bonus they just started a points system.
I have been a customer from the start and have never had anything but a great experience shopping at Highline. Whether a transfer for an online order or a new/used purchase directly from the store, they are always great to deal with.
Well Organized, Premium purchasing experience and amazing online shopping service. They work well with SilencerShop and have great service manners. A pleasure to do business with.
Best gun store in Yamhill county. Wide selection on firearms but the accessories are limited. Lots of silencers and optics in stock usually busy but quick service can be had about an hour before closing.
I'm out of state so they can't sell me guns. But I stop in every time I'm in town to visit my son at college.
Will do whatever I can to keep good gun shops open and in business.
Good selection of firearms and accessories in store. Sky is the limit for what they can obtain through their distributors.
Best rates on consignment in the Portland area, 15%; while others are charging 18% or more.
Everyone who works there is super chill. Don't think I've ever had a negative interaction with one of the employees.
Best prices on ammo from a physical store in the Portland area.
Cons
Location is out of the way for people on the east side of the Portland Metro.
(not the fault of the owners) Occasional unpleasant smell in the area of the business, likely the fault of the nearby water treatment plant.
This is easily one of the best gun stores in all of Oregon. The owner, David, is a cool dude who hasn't let the success of his business go to his head. He seems to hire good people who are down to earth and not like typical gun store employees who spout boomer lore. Prices on ammo are the best in the area that I've seen, for example I saw 50 rounds of 124gr 9mm for $14 whereas other shops in the area are selling those same rounds for $18-$21. I've never compared their prices on firearms but at face value I've always felt their prices are fair.
Highline is fantastic. I've bought and sold several firearms with them, and have been happy with their service every time. The selection in their shop is pretty damn good and they beat out most other shops and websites when it comes to prices. Their website can be complicated to work with at times when looking for specific parts, but it still sets the job done.
Shout out to Jordan who was fantastic handling my transfer. Extremely professional, he multi-tasked well, helped direct other employees to ensure nobody was waiting either in person or on the phone. He was funny, and made the transfer process a good time. Highline has some good people working for them, and the more I go in and the more I spend, the more I want to keep giving them business.
