Mike offered me above par service on some shotguns I purchased online. No reason for me to look further. This is my new LGS!!!

Pros
  • Close and easy to get to.
Cons
  • Store hours not adhered to.
Visited on several occasions where sign on door says they're open but nobody's there? made a mistake of doing a transfer there trying to establish a local business relationship but had to wait well over a week! to pick up my firearm because he was out sick for two weeks?

Poor communication when I tried calling and left messages, When he finally showed up didn't even offer a discount for my inconvenience.

Mike Also gave incorrect information on a firearm that he said was illegal but it was not. Even though this shop is closer to me than any other gun store I will take my business elsewhere where I can get better service and communication and more knowledgeable also much lower transfer fees.

Pros
  • Expert gunsmithing!
  • Easy transfers!
  • Just nice people in a cool little town!
Made the drive from the Seattle area to meet a friend for a rifle transfer. Transfer process was easy and fast. Had looked at their website and watched video of gunsmith/owner, Mike Lowery. Brought two shotguns along for him to look at. (both mid beads were screwed in too deep). Mike took a look and let me know he could adjust them while I waited. He also let me know the possible issues in freeing the beads (red loctite, etc.) and made sure I knew there was a possibility the bead could break off. I told him to go ahead and in 10 minutes both beads were removed, raised up a turn or so and re-loctited! Very pleased. Mike does a lot of work refinishing fine firearms and he showed me recent work on a nice side-by-side shotgun, including new case-hardening. Metal and wood looked great. Nice staff and owner, great resource!

  • Very helpful
Needs some help on a transfer as my father just passed away. They could have not been more helpful. Went out of there way to make sure I was taken care of. Highly recommend them. Good people.

  • Knowledgeable and Friendly Staff. Great Pricing.
They were more than happy to help me with a private party handgun sale. Great knowledge and friendly staff. I'm happy to have them in my backyard. I will be coming back again and again.

Pros
  • Fantastic staff and service, knowledgeable gunsmith
Cons
  • Limited selection due to small size
Have bought a couple of arms here and used them for maybe 5-6 transfers. Every transaction has gone without a hitch. The staff is more people-oriented than most and remember their customers names, sometimes their purchases and preferences. It is always a pleasure to visit, and I drive by many other places to return here for whatever I need.

I have not had the need for gunsmithing but would not hesitate to bring in any kind of handgun or rifle if needed. This comment based on a number of questions and discussions with the owner, Mike.

As far as ammo selection, forget about .22 but they often can provide a few boxes of other common ammo - and at reasonable prices.

  • A great little shop with exceptional service and wealth of knowledge.
I first went to Finn & Feather for a FFL transfer, I had no idea this little gem existed. I went back to browse and was impressed with the wealth of knowledge behind the counter. Such a great shop.

Pros
  • Super high quality selection. Family run shop. Straight Forward people
  • Very nice gunsmithing also
Cons
  • Not a large selection.
I've done multiple transfers. A couple straight out purchases. And gotten help/gunsmithing/advice. There Always seems to be at least one box of ammo I could use for purchase. A very clean shop. They have upscale fly fishing equipment as well. I've also received sound advice on marketing/selling some personal wares that was right on. Thanks.
