I recommended 295 Tactical to a friend for a transfer from an East Coast dealer. Steve contacted the shop and they agreed to the process the transfer and the dealer shipped the rifle to the shop via UPS. However when it arrived today, 295 Tactical refused the package. Steve drove over the shop and asked why they refused the package and the owner stated that they decided to stop doing transfers. He then when on to claim that they never agreed to do the transfer in the first place. Strange in that no dealer would have shipped the firearm to another dealer without first receiving a FFL from the receiving dealer. Seems reasonable to assume that someone at 295 Tactical must have supplied a copy of their FFL to the shipping dealer, and maybe that person shouldn't have done that, but to leave the customer holding the bag wasn't a very nice thing to do.
