295 Tactical - No Longer Doing Transfers
Overall Rating
1.00 star(s)
Cons
  • No way to run a business
I recommended 295 Tactical to a friend for a transfer from an East Coast dealer. Steve contacted the shop and they agreed to the process the transfer and the dealer shipped the rifle to the shop via UPS. However when it arrived today, 295 Tactical refused the package. Steve drove over the shop and asked why they refused the package and the owner stated that they decided to stop doing transfers. He then when on to claim that they never agreed to do the transfer in the first place. Strange in that no dealer would have shipped the firearm to another dealer without first receiving a FFL from the receiving dealer. Seems reasonable to assume that someone at 295 Tactical must have supplied a copy of their FFL to the shipping dealer, and maybe that person shouldn't have done that, but to leave the customer holding the bag wasn't a very nice thing to do.
Excellent FFL, would highly recommend

Pros
  • Knowledgeable, family-friendly staff.
  • Good selection of firearms, firearms, accessories, and some mil-surp items.
Cons
  • None.
295 Tactical has been a favored go-to for transfers and purchases. The staff are friendly and transfers have always been quick. Their selection of accessories (muzzle devices, magazines, safeties and grips) has been a boon for my personal collection. I would highly recommend their business for any of the above.
My go to FFL, great place to do business

Pros
  • customer service, large inventory of tactical, knows the industry well.
Cons
  • None that I know
I went in looking for a caslte nut for my AR pistol build after 4 different guns stores were out. They didn't have one for sale, But he pulled one off a used lower and gave it to me for free! Told me that the fee would be to come back and buy from him in the future, because his prices could not be beat. I did so and have so for all of my purchases since then, and he was right! He is the most competitive on prices in town! And a hella nice guy! If they don't have it, they can get it QUICKLY. STOP IN AND HAVE A LOOK. Their inventory is growing each day, and probably have what you need!
