I have a model 75 Winchester target rifle. It shoots great with the peep sights and is really accurate. The shooters vision is now the problem. I have ordered some scope bases out of a catalog only to find out that the receiver would need to be drilled and tapped. This rifle has the parkerized finish and a real low 5 digit serial number. I would like to mount a scope to utilize the available accuracy but do not want to modify the original piece.
Does someone make the longer scope base to fit the original holes on the receiver?
