Another thing to check is if your pistol grip screw is too long. If it extends into the FCG pocket, it can push up on the tail of the trigger, which can cause reset issues. Also, what mfg is the lower or is it an 80% ?

80%, milled by yours truly. I'll take a look at the screw when I open it up later today
 
That is possible. I'll check the orientation. Can I do that without taking the trigger assembly apart?
Should be able to look with a light but if you can't than yeah you'll have to take it out. Also make sure to measure the depth of the trigger well to make sure its right and that the pins are in the correct location.
